Hotel
A boutique hotel is planned with approximately 80 guest rooms, along with meeting and banquet rooms and a restaurant. The hotel will be constructed at the corner of High Street and Dunlap Street. The hotel’s architecture will complement historic Bellefonte and will face Talleyrand Park and Spring Creek.
The main hotel entrance, which is located on Dunlap Street, is where guests can check in. There will be a parking area with a covered portico at this entrance which leads into the hotel, banquet/meeting facilities, and food and beverage service outlets. In addition, there will be an upscale pedestrian entrance from High Street. The front of the hotel will be nicely landscaped and will look toward Talleyrand Park.
The first floor of the hotel will feature registration, lobby and the restaurant, as well as “back of the house” necessities such as kitchen, laundry and offices. The restaurant will face the waterfront. Outdoor café-style seating will surround the restaurant allowing guests to experience the ambiance of the area along with a view of the promenade along Spring Creek. Part of the exterior section of the restaurant facing Spring Creek will be covered by a balcony. The ballroom, which will be on the second floor, will accommodate 250-300 guests for receptions, weddings or meetings. Guests will enjoy the elevated vistas toward the two distinctive views: Talleyrand Park and the Waterfront. These views will also be available from the windows in the pre-function gathering space adjacent to the entrances to the ballroom.

In addition, there will be a balcony along the Spring Creek side of the building. We intend to create a Farm-to-Table dining experience, using locally sourced agricultural products along with local craft beers, wines, spirits and ciders. Supporting local businesses is something that we strongly support.

The upper floors of the hotel will feature appropriately sized guestrooms with all the up-to-date amenities befitting a business or leisure guest. The hotel will have guest rooms that will complement the historic charm of Bellefonte. Some rooms will have windows facing the spectacular views of Spring Creek and downtown Bellefonte.
